A free influenza (flu) vaccine is available from 1 May to 30 June 2026 for people aged 12 to 64 years who are not otherwise eligible for a free vaccine.Driven by curiosity and built on purpose, this is where bold thinking meets thoughtful execution. Let’s create something meaningful together.
Why consider a flu vaccine?
Influenza is a common and highly contagious virus that can lead to serious illness, particularly in vulnerable groups.
Vaccination is a safe and effective way to help reduce the risk of infection and protect the wider community.
Who is recommended to receive the flu vaccine?
Flu vaccination is recommended for everyone aged 6 months and over.
Some individuals may be at higher risk of complications from influenza, including:
- young children
- older adults
- pregnant women
- people with certain medical conditions
The flu vaccine does not contain live virus and cannot cause influenza.
Protection reduces over time, so annual vaccination is recommended.
